Details
list 1, 2, 3

A list of the items typed here, separated by commas. Numbers stay numbers and anything else becomes text. For bytes, type numbers such as 0x7E, 1, 255.
In JavaScript: this block gives back the value of
[1, 2, 3]
String List

Creates a list of text items joined together. Similar to Join Text but uses a list-building approach — add as many string items as you need.
When to use it: Use this to build a comma-separated list of options or items as a single text value.
Example: String List ["yes", "no", "maybe"] → creates the text "yesnomaybe" (or with separators if you add them).
Tips:
- Click the gear icon to add or remove items.
- Add separator text (like ", " or " | ") between items if needed.
- Useful when building option lists or constructing messages from multiple parts.
In JavaScript: this block gives back the value of
"", ""
Length of list …

How many items are in the list.
In JavaScript: this block gives back the value of
["a", "b", "c"].length
Item # … of list …

The item at this position in the list. The first item is number 1. Reading past the end gives undefined.
In JavaScript: this block gives back the value of
["a", "b", "c"][(1) - 1]
List … contains …

True when the item is in the list.
In JavaScript: this block gives back the value of
["a", "b", "c"].indexOf('a') !== -1
Join list … with …

Make one piece of text from every item in the list, with the separator between them.
In JavaScript: this block gives back the value of
["a", "b", "c"].join(', ')
Split text … at …

Break text into a list wherever the separator appears.
In JavaScript: this block gives back the value of
String('a,b,c').split(',')
