How to use the ADC Value robot skill

ADC (Analog Digital Converter) displays the voltage and value from the specified ADC port. The input voltage can be between 0 and +3.3/+5 VDC (depending on your TTL high side value). The voltage will be displayed as a linear representation of the voltage value between 0 and 255.

Main Window

1. Linear Value Readout
A linear value between 0 and 255 that is proportional to the input voltage.

2. Voltage Readout
The analog voltage is detected in VDC units.

3. Pause Checkbox
When checked, the ADC readings will pause.

Settings

1. Title Field
This field contains the title of the Read ADC skill. You can change it if you'd like. *Note: Changing the title will also change the title in the controlCommand() associated with this skill.

2. Board Drop-down
Select your ezb board number which corresponds with the connection index. This is used to support multiple ezbs.

3. Port Drop-down
Select your ADC port number.

4. Unit Description Field
Write in the unit of measure.

5. Multiplier Field
Enter the multiplier that will convert the 8-bit linear value to your chosen unit of measure.

6. Interval Drop-down
Select the wait time in milliseconds between ADC samples.

How to use Read ADC

1) Add the Read ADC skill to your ARC project (Project -> Add Skill -> ADC -> Read ADC).

2) Select the ADC port that you have an analog device plugged into in the skill settings.

3) Read the value in the Main Window.
