How to use the Vuzix Augmented Reality robot skill
*Note: Vuzix's decision to no longer support the Synthiam platform with their newer products. Therefore, this control is limited to the deprecated 920VR headset, which may be used on eBay. There will be no further development on this control. For headset support, we recommend the Virtual Reality Robot. The Vuzix augmented reality control enables connectivity between your robot and the Vuzix VR glasses. When the VR module is included with the Vuzix glasses, this allows control of your robot's movement of servo positions. The VR module is an accelerometer or compass (not sure what they use), which sends signals back to the computer of your head position. When you move your head, servos on the robot can also follow the movement. If the camera is mounted on servos, you may move your head to move the servos, thus moving the camera. It's about time you get to see what your robot sees. Become your robot!
Use the Configure option to define this controls behavior. Either configure the VR module to control the position of servos or movement.
The Vuzix VR Glasses that DJ uses in the Wall-e video are 920VR, which have been discontinued and can be found on eBay. The latest version is the 1200VR.
