I know not robot related unless we can officially make Patches the official ez robot mascot.... Ha, Ha... EZ Patches... I just wanted to start my own thread and stop hijacking other peoples threads...
Update Patches is now scheduled for surgery this Friday.... I am going to spring for some really good pain killer drugs for him... That boy is going to be flying... Anyway, thanks so much to you guys for support.... I'll update this thread on Friday or Saturday when he gets home....
I've been following this and I'm very happy things are going well. I truly hope they continue to.
I totally get your and others passion for getting the best medical care for your pets. They are such a special part of our families. Last year we I lost a beloved Cataholia that had been a special part of our family to a brain tumor. I dropped over 6k trying to save her and don't regret spending a single penny or writing the check each month to pay off the loans.
We've since rescued sister Cataholia pups that are quickly becoming as much a part of our family as Sissy was. I guess I need to start saving up cash for their care if ever they get sick. Maybe a reserve of 12K this time?
Good luck and strength to all who are caring for sick pets. They are very fortunate animals to have such caring and loving people in there lives.
@Dave.... Thanks for that....
No problem Richard.
I added a few pics of my Sissy and the two pups Belle and Sky. Hope that wasn't inappropriate.
@Dave.... Not inappropriate at all... Everyone is welcome to post pics and stories of their pampered furies in this thread.... Those pups are too cute... Do you still have them?
Yep, Sky and Belle are just over a year old now and will be part of the family forever. We rescued them from a Foster Home down in Texas had them flown up to Wisconsin just before last Christmas.
Thanks for asking.
They even have a Facebook page:
Skye & Belle's adventures
The pups Facebook page
I've got one on major pain meds right now from a ruptured anal gland. Go back for stitches next Tue.
Ouch! Doc, do you have one of those butt pillows for her to sit on?
Poor thing. That a nice looking dog!
I am pleased Patches is gaining strength. Good luck with the surgery next week.
