I know not robot related unless we can officially make Patches the official ez robot mascot.... Ha, Ha... EZ Patches... I just wanted to start my own thread and stop hijacking other peoples threads...
Update Patches is now scheduled for surgery this Friday.... I am going to spring for some really good pain killer drugs for him... That boy is going to be flying... Anyway, thanks so much to you guys for support.... I'll update this thread on Friday or Saturday when he gets home....
@Alan.... Thanks.... I'll keep everyone posted...
@Doc... Seriously Ouch!... I second Dave's advice....
@Dave.
I couldn't have said it better myself. You do have some beautiful pups their. Good on you. And you to Doc. Hope he gets well soon.
I don't really have a story to tell, just wanted to share some pictures with you all. The first one is of my best pal "Indy" (I was, and still am a huge Indiana Jones fan). I lost him a few years back due to old age. He was a big part of my life who we rescued from the RSPCA when he was just a few weeks old.
The next pic is of my two cats I had at the same time as Indy. On the left was the grey Persian "Minty" which was really my mums cat. And "Toby" is on the right who was mine, and who nearly always waited for me out the front of the house when I came home from school. He was a great time keeper, and never wore a watch. And he LOVED to eat cucumber confused. Again lost both of them to old age as well.
Finally my sisters dog who she rescued from a shelter who I'm lucky enough to look after when she's away. He like to eat biscuits, and my sisters socks lol. His name is "Leo" but I call him A.L.F (alien life form if you remember the TV show)
. Can you see the resemblance?
Unfortunately I can't have pets at the moment as my mum moved in with me a while back so I can help look after her due to ill health. So pets are out of the question for now as it would be to much for her. So my lil robot dog will have to suffice for now.
Anyway, hope you didn't mind me sharing my story Richard.
It is a very nice thing to do - (rescue animals) Thanks to all pet lovers in this thread and a really great idea (off topic of course).
@Steve.... Great story Steve.... Thanks for sharing (sorry about your Mom by the way)... One day you'll probably help out another needy animal....
@Doc.... Yep, we needed an off topic, therapy type thread.....
I didn't realize there are as many animal lovers on here as there are. Anybody want to adopt him?
@pacowang... Patches does...
@pacowang, Is that a real bird and are you serious? It sure is strange looking. What's the story?
