I am Lloyd's wife and I am posting this on behalf of Lloyd. I wanted all of Lloyd's friends and peers to know that he has experienced another mild stroke. He will be under going therapy soon to help with recovery. As some of you may already know he has had one minor stroke before.
I have seen how much joy and happiness building robots has brought to him. He has always been so excited to share his progress and accomplishments with me when I come home from work every day. He has already shared his concern and frustration with me that he may not be able to continue pursuing his endeavors.
As a health care professional I feel that his continued involvement with robotics would serve well to aid in his recovery. It is therefore, my sincere hope that his friends in the EZ-B community will be supportive, and perhaps inclined, to offer him any aid possible during his recovery.

I wish you the best and speedy recovery Lloyd. The progress you have made with robotics is truly outstanding. You are used as an example often in my presentations. From the other user responses, I hope you realize you have a family here as well. Get well soon LLoyd!
Hey Lloyd hang in there man...
Thou we have never met...
You may never know what effect or what you might have to contribute to others by some post of yours about an idea or basically anything! I for one did not know that you had a previous stroke ( no matter how mild or severe ) and here you are with the idea of Gizmo, a quite sophisticated robot , my hat is off to you.
I too tend to lurk in the back ground but I am amazed myself at what I have accomplished to do with robotics and I learned it all from reading the forums and adding input myself to them.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is keep on posting when ever possible and how ever possible, pursue your endeavors to build Gizmo no matter what the outcome and you and the rest of us can say " Well , at least we tried didn't we ! "
