Script Action Upon Motion - Need Help Quick!

Hey all, Looks like my ping sensor is not working so I need an alternative. I was hoping to use a web cam. Can anyone tell me if possible and how I could trigger a script upon the detection of motion? Is this even possible with EZ-Builder? I'm heading to bed soon, but the competition is tomorrow so I hope to have this fixed in the morning. Judging...

Soft Plush Toy For Ez-B

This is a very interesting idea and would be very attainable with EZ-B. WHy it took this long to figure out who knows. Stuffed Toys Alive The idea is that without solid joints in a stuffed animal, strings can still allow the toy to appear to be alive. The toy can then keep its hug-able softness. I love it! :D

Software/Firmware Update Broke My Scripts?

Hey guys, I just updated from v 15.8 to v16 and have a small problem. My Wall-E's scripts for following colour or motion don't work quite right anymore. When I run them (by voice or click) all tracking turns on. Motion, colour, face and glyph. I even loaded the EZ-Robot example "Robot - Wall e big" and when I simply click to start the script...

Hexy: Hexapoda Kick Starter

Hey ez-b friends, I just came across this hexapod article and I thought it would be pretty awesome. I may end up backing it for the $80 and get the frame so I can use my own servos and the EZ-B as its a much more powerful platform. How sweet would that be?! Camera is a must have! Just thought I'd share :) Hexy the Hexapod kit

Print Your Own Parts? I Think So!

Hey EZ-B community! I was wondering if anyone was thinking the same thing I did when I saw the Solidoodle on Engadget recently? Solidoodle is a <$500 3D printer that would be freakin awesome for printing those robot parts you just can't find anywhere else. All it requires is power and a USB port. If I can justify it, I will probably pick one up...

How To Remove Hot Glue From Your Project

Hi all, I came across this problem as I de-constructed my Metal BoxBot to build my Wall-E. The answer: Rubbing Alcohol ! Apparently removing hot glue is as simple as touching it with just a small amount of Rubbing Alcohol. Works like a charm! Check out the video for proof :) Happy building!

What's A Good Price For Wall-E

Hi all! My wife is buying me an EZ-B kit for my birthday this week (I have her well trained ;) ) and I really want my first bot to be a Wall-E. The one's I tend to find on eBay range from $15 for the 5" figurine (likely not the one you use) to $400 for the remote control one. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!
