How To Remove Hot Glue From Your Project

Hi all,

I came across this problem as I de-constructed my Metal BoxBot to build my Wall-E.

The answer: Rubbing Alcohol !

Apparently removing hot glue is as simple as touching it with just a small amount of Rubbing Alcohol. Works like a charm! Check out the video for proof:)

Happy building!

Fantastic! I have a camera that I need to remove from the head (and turn right side up haha). You saved me!

Haha I did the exact same thing to my Wall-E! This helped a lot. Especially since I ended up with the dinky sized one.

Oh well! It taught me to be conservative on space.

It's also nice that the alcohol dried within seconds so you can glue again without waiting or cleaning any solution off the surfaces first.

I think the question should be, who did not put the camera in up side down? Luckily I had gravity and the floor help me out with the removal of mine:)

Top tip of the day though!
