Super exciting. I can't wait to refit my B9 Robot with three of these. This will be my 3rd refit and I'm not even done building him. The old guy started out with four EZB v3's. Thanks again for your efforts.
Microphone that ties to voice reg would be big!
802.11ac?
EZ-Robot will never put a microphone on the controller
. The number of issues you already face with speech recognition - we sure won't wish to add to it by adding a microphone next to your servos. If you wish to have a microphone, buy a cheap bluetooth microphone. I use one like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Mini-Bluetooth-Wireless-In-Ear-Headphones-Headset-Earbud-Earphone-Earpiece-/351456260867?var=&hash=item51d46cf303:m:mvQFXyLcuz5Jx7NtKlQVM_A
The speech recognition explains in more detail about using microphones. Microphones are the only recommended usage for speech recognition. The learn section has a bunch of tutorials and information regarding controls, specifically the speech recognition control.
802.11ac will not benefit ez-robot, as the speed is very high and exceeds the requirements by a large factor. The cost would be increased, the distance would be decreased, and the processor requirements would add to the cost.
As listed in the previous page, the ez-b v4.x/2 is a performance increase and stability increase. It will replace the existing module and be shipped with every new robot starting in a little over a month. Manufacturing is happening as i type this.
Sounds good. I was only asking so that I knew if a new access point needed to be budgeted for
lol - well, we got the linksys wrt1900ac and it's pretty good - even though we run it in G mode due to distance issues with others
@DJ, Is this a whole new ezb or an add on board/replacement?
Replaced the top board of the ez-b v4.x
