Replacing Damaged 32F205rect6 Chip

Hi , With regards the main processor chip in the ezb 4 does it need to be reflashed after replacment. Ive got a new lower board coming but thought as this one is dead i might as well have a go at repairing it. ive changed the ic out for new but still dont seem to be having much luck with it.
