@bhouston, Thanks. It was all servo noise. I tried a few different ez-robot hdd servos and used the most quiet one but it has to turn so fast on some of words. The jaw itself moves easily and is well lubed. Even the worm gear would drop through the hole easily so no binding there.
Anyway I'm really happy with how really quiet it is now.
