Question

Kullthulu · Answer

This brought me to tears I'm laughing so hard in my cubicle right now. Thank you that was epic!

jstarne1 · Answer

Ha ha ha , that's so awesome

Nomad 6R · Answer

i found it on facebook.haha

MovieMaker · Answer

Quite impressive if it were not for the bad language. Don't get me wrong. I respect your right to do that. I am just not in to that. good work.

Jason · Answer

Lol, this is great!

Nomad 6R · Answer

its not mine

Troy · Answer

I would like to make something like this one day. Truthfully it's a goal of mine.

Rich · Answer

As it's a goal of mine too to convert a plush toy to a robot. As for the bad language, it doesn't bother me but then anyone who has seen any of my uncut videos or out takes knows my language is a little on the blue side. They do say that those who swear a lot are the most honest people you'll likely ever meet though I'm more offended by the music lol. Funny stuff though

Nomad 6R · Answer

here is another possible idea.

Nomad 6R · Answer

rich i think you like this one

Rich · Answer

Yep, I'm a follower of Compressorhead, it's nothing short of mind blowing what they have managed to achieve there.

Steve S · Answer

nomad18.08 , The drummer reminds me of my younger days when our band played Cream and Steppenwolf music! I did try having my robot rock to "Sunshine of Your Love" utilizing a sound servo output to her head and arms, while it played on my sound surround. Nothing like this production! I love it! Thanks for sharing, Steve S

Dunning-Kruger · Answer

The work, engineering and programming needed... Holly cripes

Nomad 6R · Answer

the band need just a singer.maybe some thing for jd.

Nomad 6R · Answer

okay here is one girly robot,

Antron007 · Answer

+1 for Compressorhead. They rock! \m/ One day, I'd like to make a hand that can play a piano chord or two.

Rich · Answer

Having a robot play an instrument has always been on my robot bucket list. Closest I have got is Jarvis playing Guitar Hero (but that was kinda cheating since he was just sending the right sequence of buttons to the Xbox not actually pushing buttons and strumming but shhh... that's a secret)

DJ Sures · Answer

Haha man that girl robot is hilarious! The Japanese are crazy funny when they make stuff like that

Nomad 6R · Answer

ok zal het aan niemand zeggen. eek

chrissi · Answer

I saw Compressorhead live, they were awesome! Robots playing music is pretty sweet. I like the Thrift Shop cover Too bad they couldn't get Macklemore to sing it.... lol.

Nomad 6R · Answer

something we can use for jd?

Sudo the Banned · Answer

i really don't get those sort of things. isn't walking one of the main points of making a humanoid robot?

Nomad 6R · Answer

robi can walk.now he can drive too.it spares your batteries .

Mohamed.r · Answer

Also sometimes humanoid robots walk slowly so the motor cycle allows it to get to places faster

Nomad 6R · Answer

mohamed.r good thinking

Nomad 6R · Answer

recognize the singer?

Jason · Answer

Lol, PSY always delivers ridiculousness...

Steve S · Answer

nomad, I don't think it is something to relax to when he raps "kill those f,n Americans". I am very open minded, but not this! This forum is not political! I don't care if it shows robots! I am sorry, but I have to say this is WRONG ! Steve S

Nomad 6R · Answer

wow i didn understand the song .i just saw robots.my apolegies steve can someone remove this topic?

Steve S · Answer

nomad, I think maybe you are not aware of his history. I accept and agree with most of your other comments and posts. Looking forward to robots. Thanks Steve S

Nomad 6R · Answer

no i didn.so his previous song go also about what you say.? its not englich i think.

Antron007 · Answer

@Steve- When you mention kill Americans, there's a few vids in the thread so I'm unclear which one you're referring too. Like Rich, I'm not a huge fan of [I decided to remove the lengthy and very detailed description of my personal feelings and experiences on the subject] rap/hip hop. [To be fair it's not all bad.] So, could you educate a fellow American? Knowing North Korea is not a fan of the U.S. my guess is PSY.?.

Dunning-Kruger · Answer

@Steve... Was it the last video you are talking about? Who wants to kill Americans? PSY? You actually understood the language in that video?

thetechguru · Answer

I am not a fan, and not apologizing for him, but it wasn't this song, it was something he sang in 2004 for which he has apologized numerous times. See www.cnn.com/2012/12/07/showbiz/psy-apology-irpt/

Dunning-Kruger · Answer

Ahhh.... Ok.... I am not a fan whatsoever either.... He's a one hit wonder (if you call anything he did a hit) so we'll probably never here from him again anyway...

Nomad 6R · Answer

isn that desame man from gangam style?

Antron007 · Answer

@Richard R.- While I agree he's a fad, at best, he did just release a song with Snoop Dogg earlier this week.

If you absolutely have to see it: "Hangover" video on You Tube.

@Nomad- Yes, he's the gangam style guy.

Rich · Answer

@nomad Yes it is, which is why I refuse to click play on the video... not because of what Steve S brought up (I was not aware of that but then I don't really care much about that either) but because Gangnam Style was serious abuse to my ears!

I'm sure nomad meant no offence to anyone by posting the video and was more interested in the robots dancing than the artist's history. Let's not let anything get blown out of proportion

Nomad 6R · Answer

absolute i was focus on the robobuider and the leds.but lesson learned thank you averyone blush

Antron007 · Answer

@Rich- So your new tattoo (nice btw) isn't there to cover up the "Death to America" tattoo that used to be there? (For everyone- Rich did not have a DTA tattoo. He isn't that kind of guy. I'm just toying with him. I figured I should clear the air after I pollute it with a blatant lie. Once again, I'm just joking with Rich.)

Rich · Answer

This is the one that covers up the burning flag... (That's a joke)

Nomad 6R · Answer

some ideas here's an kangoroe

Rich · Answer

That hexapod is awesome, it was posted on here a while back but that doesn't make it any less awesome.

Nomad 6R · Answer

the kangoroe has good mobility haha

hoolagen1 · Answer

robot with motorcycle is awesome! steve calm down. if anything you made it worse by bringing that up.

Steve S · Answer

I do some of my most creative work when I am relaxing with barley pop, but sometimes I put my foot in my mouth, Sorry! I will stick to robotics when I am relaxing, not posting.

Nomad 6R · Answer

steve do you still drums sometimes?

hoolagen1 · Answer

Nomad or anyone else for that matter, do you know where I would be able to get 3d files for the Robi robot? I'm looking to see if XL-robots can custom print be the shell. I love the look of the robi but would like to perfect it with the ezv4

Steve S · Answer

Nomad, It has been several years since I have tried to keep up with a "Cream" song. I still enjoy watching youtube of Cream at Albert Hall. It is in HD with great sound. Now only my grandkids pounding on the drums. I bet you will have your JD doing all kinds of cool tricks later on with EZB4! That is an interesting idea adding a servo on the waist. EZ Robot makes it easy to customize and program your thoughts.

Nomad 6R · Answer

hi steve good that your grand kids learn to drum about the jd depents on i get the parts printed out. hi hoolagent, there are no stl files from robi as i now off. i have the front off robi chest whithout the speaker.also spare head whit eyes in,no rgb's in.. and no back side.the parts have some discoloring.i will not needed anymore. so you can have it for free.so you only need to print out the backside. the problem is how to get it to you.

hoolagen1 · Answer
