My guess would be packaging and logistics changes in the assembly/packaging process are not complete. It is easier to swap in a new component into assembly and packaging than to start a whole new sku. Since the full boards are shipping, then the component manufacturing is complete, but the other things surrounding shipping essentially a new product take longer.

Is this component stackable like a shield...can it be hooked up to ARC as before? Very interested!:)

It replaces the top half of the EZB. You open the case, carefully seperate the two halves, and carefully seat the replacement on the pins, then put it back in the case.
