What were the problems with the RT3290? I have an HP desktop with the RT3290 and it connected to my EZb4 just fine. Was the problem not connecting at all or dropping connection?

Ha, ha... Justin... where have you been dude?... many users were/are having trouble connecting their ezbs to some HP and Compaq PCs.... There are many threads on this over the last few months or so...

I just connected to the network and made sure I waited till it was done connecting. unfortunately after making sure the default address was correct in the ARC, (which it was) I still recieve this error message from the ARC;

That is the old log, but the message was the same with the exception of the time stamps. I'm connecting to the network using only my tablet and no external plugs.

@Richard :P:P:P:P:P Correction, my wifi card is a RT5390, not the 3290. So 5390's work. ;)

Cool thanks @JustinRatliff

We have been seeing issues with RT3290 and RT5370 chipsets mostly.

Sorry @Chrisg93 I mixed up your diagnostic info with the previous post from @nyapaysolo. I'm guessing @nyapaysolo had an issue due to Avast.

Could you post your diagnostic info? This should tell us if you have a RaLink WAN chipset.

It's in ARC -> project -> add controls -> general -> Diagnostic Report

Thanks!

I cant use the diagnostic report. When I try I get an error message talking about an unhandled exception and the report is blank.

I did check my device manager though, it says i have a Realtek RTL8723BS Wireless LAN 802.11n SDIO Network Adapter

That Network adapter should work, I'm guessing this might be a antivirus/firewall issue. I looked your tablet's product page and someone in the comments mentioned that it comes with "full featured anti virus and firewalls" so I'm guessing that those items are getting in the way of ARC connecting to the ez-b.
