With the "unhandled exception" I'm concerned the install of ARC may not be working correctly. I would recommend downloading and installed the latest release of ARC and try the diagnostic report again. If there is an error can you take a screen shot?

Well, I turned off Windows firewall, windows defender, and windows smartscreen, but it still didn't work. Also i cant take a screenshot of the error message, but i will post it here;

System.Core Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.0.30319.33440 built by: FX45W81RTMREL CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Core/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Core.dll

************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. The application must also be compiled with debugging enabled.

For example:

<configuration> <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" /> </configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer rather than be handled by this dialog box.

You could always try using a USB WiFi dongle to troubleshoot whether it's the network adapter or something else blocking communication.

If you don't have a USB dongle you could try connecting via client mode as well.

Can you bring up the ez-b web server page (http://192.168.1.1) on your tablet? edit: When you are connected to the ez-b in default AP mode, of course

Yes, I can open the ezb server in client mode. I have considered getting a USB WiFi dongle as well, any suggestions on a good one that should work?

I was just reading a thread on the HP forums, some people have had WiFI issues with their tablets, some have fixed things with a USB dongle (plus OTG cable) others have just done a driver update using "HP Support Assistant" and had success as well.

I can recommend any of the following dongles that have been tested with the ez-b:

Edimax EW-7811Un Mercury MW150US TP-Link TL-WN725N TP-Link TL-WN823N LB-Link BL-WN2210

Note: Other dongles by LB-link have RaLink chipsets and don't work.

Okay, well I tried the ezb in client mode, and the green light on the ezb is flashing. However when I scanned the network, it didn't pick up any IP addresses.

unfortunately none of those dongles helped. i still get the board not communicating message

@Chrisg93... Might be time for a new PC then... Have you tried connecting on another PC? Family? Friends?
