I need to order a bunch of servo extension cables and jumpers. What are the handiest types to order and where is the best place to order them? Should I get the ones with universal connectors?

I have old gaming consoles that dont read disks anymore, i was wondering if the disk spinner or the camera motor could be used for a claw machines x-y axis, or the claw open and close motor or maybe the up and down one? Any info on parts is appreciated. Also, im on a budget. Cant invest alot.
