take a picture with your phone and upload it to imgur-

click the image to get the i.imgur link and post it through the "add a image" button then post the picture like you would a normal post

Nomad I appreciate you trying! Thanks! This one is unfortunately a bit deeper. Thankfully I have repaired damage much worse than this, but had a schematic handy with components listed. Hopefully Jeremie can answer what component this was....

That's a burned diode , I'm not Jeremie , but I speculate this is a reverse current protection diode. Maybe a reverse current issue?
