Jeremie could you tell me what the component was directly under the yellow poly fuse?
For some reason can't post a pic?

Well, I knew this day would come
The component that was damaged, and provided that nice black mark on the polyfuse, was the reverse polarity protection diode. @kamaroman68 it looks like you were operating outside our specifications for maximum continuous current through the ez-bv4.
While I unfortunately can't recommend anything specifically for you, what I can suggest is that you replace the diode with one that meets your specific requirements (keeping in mind that you could face other physical current constraints afterward) or what might be a better idea, you could run power to your high current peripherals (motors, solenoids, etc) external to the ez-bv4.
Interesting , all of my motors are run through 3 separate robo claw h bridges. The only other 2 motors I have and that are directly connected to ezb 4 are pan and tilt servos made by torxis and operate on a full 12 Vdc which is what I power the entire machine from( 12 v sla). Thanks Jeremie
Do you offer the bottom board by itself? Thanks. Chris
Chris, it is the amps, not the volts that would be a question. What is the amperage of those 12v servos? (I can't imagine the Roboclaw's draw much on the signal pins, but need to add their draw to the total as well).
Alan
While I'm not certain which specific Torxis servo you are using it looks like most of them draw 3Amps under load, having 2 of them would make the continuous current requirements ~6A which is higher than the 5A we rate the ez-bv4 for.
We can sell the main board itself under special circumstances, though you would have to Contact Us directly. That being said, I feel that you should be able to repair your current main board as a diode failure shouldn't have had any cascading effects. If you'd like to replace the diode with another, please find one that is rated higher than the 6A you need.
No go guys , more damage than expected. Thanks. Just ordered 2 more ezb4s, one for my machine one for my sons. I will modify so torxis servos come directly from 12vdc supply rather than EZB. Thanks again!
