A Question Of Torque

I was wondering if someone could give me a little clarity here. If using gears to reduce a servo's / motor's rotation by 50%, will that increase it's torque per cm? I'm going to be using a 40kg Servo and I am going to reduce its rotation from 210 degrees to 105.

Using A Sabertooth Motor Controller.

Hello. I am using a Sabertooth 2x12 motor controller . I like to controll the movement of the robot with speed controll like with an anlog joystick, more you push the joystick the more speed to the wheels. Can it be done ? Just wondering if there will soon be away to use my joysticks hat switch to control my cams pan and tilt.
