Change Release Notes

  • Bing Speech Robot Skill: We resolved an issue where the robot skill would not record when the wake word sound was enabled for ControlCommand. Now, recordings will work as expected with wake word functionality.

  • Copy Cheatsheet Control Commands: We have added the ability to easily copy control commands from the cheatsheet to the clipboard, improving workflow and ease of use.

  • HBridge PWM Movement Panel Robot Skill: Fixed an issue that caused exceptions when the capability wasn't supported (e.g., no connection). The robot skill now handles unsupported capabilities gracefully without errors if the EZB is not supporting PWM.

This update brings essential stability improvements and usability enhancements for ARC users.

Thanks Dave, appreciate the help.  Now for a status.  I uninstalled ARC, then rebooted, installed the latest version of ARC, rebooted before running the program for the first time.  Ran the program and the Set Digital plug in no longer works.  Remember it did work on the older version that I just uninstalled.  Not sure what I am doing wrong.

@dbeard, It's not you. I downloaded this update, ARC 2024.09.18.00 (Pro & Runtime), and indeed the Set Digital control (robot skill) is not working. I do however have PWM through the ports.

I'm sure support will get it fixed asap.

Dave, that is great news.  Thanks for taking the time to install and test.  For a while there I thought I had a bunch of dead relays.

It looks like you're right - i'm not sure what happened or when but I'll push it as high priority and have it fixed. We have two code libraries right now because ARCx and ARC are being developed together. ARCx uses a ton of ARC libraries that have been updated - so stuff like this is a pain in the butt for everyone haha. But I'm glad you found it anyway:D
