Change Release Notes

  • Bing Speech Robot Skill: We resolved an issue where the robot skill would not record when the wake word sound was enabled for ControlCommand. Now, recordings will work as expected with wake word functionality.

  • Copy Cheatsheet Control Commands: We have added the ability to easily copy control commands from the cheatsheet to the clipboard, improving workflow and ease of use.

  • HBridge PWM Movement Panel Robot Skill: Fixed an issue that caused exceptions when the capability wasn't supported (e.g., no connection). The robot skill now handles unsupported capabilities gracefully without errors if the EZB is not supporting PWM.

This update brings essential stability improvements and usability enhancements for ARC users.

Just curious.  But I upgraded to the latest version of ARC.    When I look at Help/About it shows:  v2024.09.18.00.   Ever since I upgraded I can't get the Set Digital (on/off) to work.  But since I I have an earlier version v2023.06.09 (i know very old) installed (it is on a different computer) that I didn't upgrade and tested on that version and the Set Digital (on/off) works.    Is anyone else having an issue like this, or is it just me?  I would appreciate any feedback.

Ok, I just finished uninstalling the latest version and installed the 2023.06.09 version and the Set Digital (on/off) works.  So I think something may be wrong in the latest release as is relates to the Set Digital function.

Can you show an example of your code that isn’t working?

It's note code I am just using the Set Digital plug in.   With the new version it doesnt work, but with the older version as mentioned above the plug in works.

Let me try this.  Later today I will totally deinstall ARC and then install the latest version and see if that works.  I havent tried that yet, maybe the I had an issue with the first intall of the latest version.  Will let you know.

dberd, I haven't upgraded yet. It's been a hard week around my house. However I'll try to download today and see if I have the same issue. I think you uninstalling and reinstalling is a good path. I've seen others here have issue and a clean uninstall/install fixed things.

My suggestion is to also delete your latest ARC download, re-download then install that one. Good luck.
