My roomate repaired motorola radios in the airforce and many law enforcement agencies use the motorola radio systems. He is trying to find a job right now aparently in the radio field their is not nearly as much demand as one would think. Now hes looking to switch to the energy industry.
@gunner I realized I did not really answer one of your questions. You asked how the tx and rx know to change channels (and to the same one at that) The answer is more simple that one would think. The Transmitter doesn't hop frequency. It broadcasts on on full frequency range it operates in. The reciever just hops to get better reception when and if needed. Some systems have two way radio communications but in this case I dont believe that is a feature.
Take a looks at this modified nerf blaster. Just removed side panels and cut the handle off.

Jarvis has been on the back burner this week. Last night I had sniffles and a cold so I took plenty of nitequile and crashed. I will be molding the front speakers on jarvis next I believe. That and installing the shoulder brackets onto the arms.
Tonight I started to paint darts to match the air cannons camo. I am not worried about the snake skin details on such a small area. They are only being painted khaki. Also I noticed painting darts is difficult because they are so light they roll around just from light wind from a paint can.
This may make them harder to find in the grass. lol Someone needs to build a robot that collects the darts and brings them back. lol Not too hard on a solid white hard floor. Not close to easy outside.
