EzAng, Yes, I've watched many times and understand. servo blocks will not make your servo stronger. It will however protect the servo from radial loads. The servo Block transfers the sideways load to the body of the servo. If you want to increase the strength of you servo you need to use a gearbox. I've used both servo Blocks and gearboxes. They do two different jobs.
Perhaps I am confused by what you are trying to do with the servo Block. Sorry if that's the case. So we can get on the same page could you state what you want the servo Block to accomplish for you?
I love the way you are having fun with your robots. You seem to be fully into the enjoyment and learning of this cool hobby. You have quite an imagination. That's a must have with robotics.
Good morning Dave,
I also understand what servo Blocks and gearboxes are used for in a project..
I use gearboxes for my two arms on Mr. Metal.
My new project is basically a robot crane that can move on wheels and pick things up, moving them horizontal controlled by ARC.
I still have my Lionel trains form when I was a child.
This is the basic concept:
EzAng, I like how you gave your robot mouth movement, very creative. Voice sounds great too. I enjoy Lionel and other O and O27 trains also. Steve S
Thanks Steve,
What are you up too as far as robots?
Audacity make a nice robot voice, did you hear that?
EzAng
EzAng, Yes, your robot voice sounds great! Moved my Commodore 64 back downstairs that operates my retro robot JAMES that I got operational again. Just finished putting an H-Bridge in an old Meccano, I am rebuilding for my grandkids. Steve S
EzAng, I tried that audio program tonight. Very coolI could see haiving some fun with it for sure
I will try more sounds.

Just received my servo city parts, I hope soon I will have a rolling tractor to pick things up with ARC
I purchased my first JD robot in March of 2019 - now it is April 2021, learned so many things in 2 years, and I hope more to come, be well all.
