Sorry as I am late to this thread but it sound like you are doing everything except following the tutorial. It sound like you have all the pieces working.

  1. fire up computer
  2. fire up ezb
  3. start or load a project
  4. select the EZB in the network properties list in windows. This will cause your browsers to quit working
  5. you are connected in APmode
  6. In ARC connect to that and you are good to go.

Right? Or am I missing something. This should all work pretty seamlessly in Windows 10. At least that is my experience

I recommend pressing the reset button and following the connection tutorial for your robot on the robot program. Simply press the blue link in this message for the robot program. Locate your robot and follow the instructions to connect. Have fun!

No need for the caps, it just looks like you are shouting lol.

The only charger that has LEDs that blink is the black SkyRC E3 charger, this is normal, just plug your battery into the charger's 3 pin port and the LEDs should turn red until the battery is charged, then they will turn green.

My recommendation for your best chance at connecting to make sure your battery is charged then use your newest (one week) EZ-B, it will have the name "EZ-Bv4.x/2" in the SSID name, disconnect your wired ethernet connection and then try and connect as it instructs in the Robot Program as @DJ mentioned.

When it comes to the tutorial portion for the time being just skip it, as it seems to be getting in your way. You won't need the web browser to use your robot but it is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the tutorial section of the website before hand.

I get the same problem with my version of Windows 10 on both my laptops and desk top P.C. ,for me it is an issue with Virus protection Free AVG and sometimes even with Defender,to get EZB to see the network I then must disable all the virus protection and re boot then the EZB will connect properly, with the Windows 7 I had last winter I never had any problems ,it started with the Win 10 upgrade for me anyway. The other issue I get is if the Ethernet cable is used the Wireless stops working so I need to use one or the other but not both at same time. Win 10 sucks.;)

Edit---Ok after re-reading your first post it seems you may have a different problem as my issue was only the EZB connecting to Wi-Fi but my browser was still good to go on internet,so you may have some other problem if you can't even browse the web pages. Also, not sure why you had to pay for Windows 10,it is still free from the Disability Microsoft win10 page and you can even create your own Win10 setup disc or jump drives to use on all your computers free. I did notice that for it to be free you can only install on a computer that already had an activated older operating system like Win 7. Or else then it tells you after setup of win 10 you must register and pay if using a wiped hard drive or non registered version of Windows.

Hae there everyone, especially Perry, robo rad, and jeremie,

They ask me to be short.
This page keeps telling me to take actions I already stated I had done.

I've found, literally over a thousand request for assistance in a spectrum of issues and that "scope of support" thing is making curious.

I found the problem in print-server. When I turned that off, I connected. Why in hell is that involved.

Your Linkman charger LEDs should never flash, this is likely a defective charger or power supply. Please contact [email protected]. Do you have another power adapter or charger to try? You mentioned that you are going to order more so I'm guessing the answer is no.

Windows 10 is not your issue. Among many others, we at EZ-Robot have been using Windows 10 on a daily basis for a few years now.

The EZ-B without magnets is an older EZ-B and the one with magnets is the newer EZ-B. Magnets were added in the last year or so. Please try connecting the newer (magnet) EZ-B over wifi and keep your wired connection unplugged while trying it. Your wired router may have the same 192.168.1.1 default address as the EZ-B and could be causing a conflict. Please try this combination and let us know how it goes.

Could I ask a small favor of you? You wouldn't mind limiting the length of your responses a little, would you? I am quite certain that many more people from the community would likely be very happy to help but are having a hard time sorting out all the information posted. A bunch of us use our phones to browse the forums and it makes longer posts a bit overwhelming when we are reading on a small screen.

In summary, let me know if this is accurate:

  • Can't charge your batteries due to faulty charger or power supply
  • You were previously able to connect an EZ-B to WiFi and subsequently to ARC and use your robots until your hard drive crashed
  • To remedy the hard drive crash you upgraded to Windows 10
  • Currently you can connect an EZ-B to WiFi but when connecting to ARC the EZ-B connects and promptly disconnects right away
  • You don't have any Anti-virus program active

hi jeremie, i'm at the check-out now. I order 4-charges for bats, asked Andres if separate charger needed for each battery send four, else, one. I fixed the spinning wheel servo and bad charger as he said scope of support. All your points true 'cept upgrade. NOT upgrade. Full ver. My screen prefs not like this vid just now about screen-resolution. It's a click now. Win-10 from full-version is not upgrade from win-8 None of my screens match anything you have. People with new machines may find this difficult.

Upgrade is only a part of Full-Version Win-10. Part of the new firewall is this edge-browser. My program working now and found my trouble in print-server. I wish DJ had said in a "Learn" how to check those boxes. Under Firewall I had to give each place EZ-software loaded permission to R/W and other access. Why is that not in a "Learn" video? Half a month rent is already gone. After changing so many settings trying to find what would work, I'm not sure what a correct combination would be but I did find it's not fire-wall. Mine is still on.

Doron,

I know this is a long shot, but are you located anywhere near Washington or Baltimore? We are having a really hard time following your written communication, and clearly you are having a hard time understanding some of what is being asked of you (since the problem with your browser has now been clearly identified 4 times by Jeremie and others as an IP address conflict with your router, and you keep talking about unrelated issues and posting logs that are no longer needed).

If you are withing reasonable driving distance, I (for a change) have some availability on Sunday afternoon and could come visit with known working laptop, EZ-B, and some servos and batteries to help you troubleshoot and determine what is configuration and what, if anything, is actually broken.

Let me know. (don't share your actual address here. My email address is in my profile).
