also the chestclip is that for original chest ? or is the a new modified chest too ?

#5

@DJ I hope you like it! I use https://www.tinkercad.com/ primarily and Simplify3D to finalize the .stl

@Nomad, that is correct. I modified the standard JD head, which is two parts (front and back) so this is a C3PO themed front and the screw holes are still there, along with the camera mount.

I hope you all like them. I'm planning to do other themed clip on chests and JD front face plates. I just printed a JD/Mini Me clone head from a 3d scan of my face. Once I clean it up, I'll post a picture of it so you can see the results.

looks really good.the chestplate does it have openings on the side and bottom ? cant wait to see pics off mini jd and the other parts.

love it

@Nomad, the chest clip just slides in the standard JD slot opening that is already on JD's chest.

I could have designed a whole new front, but it seemed like a waste when JD already has a clip.

yes i can see that.but i think the plate will stand some 8 mm off the chest jd. withs is a lot .maybe its better to check this. the slot jd chest is some 5 mm include 3mm off the clip on the plate.
