Dynamixel Servo Robot Scaled To Standard Servo Robot?

Has anyone tried to scale down a robot which uses Dynamixel servos to allow the use of a standard servo? I am still playing with the idea of printing a scaled version of Poppy ( Hi Richard R ) which could use normal servos. The frame of Poppy looks very light and it may work with standard servos.
