This is the second outdoor fun entry level mech warrior. This is following begginer level competition rules from mech warriors.com which is a competition ran by trossen robotics. Rules indicate the robot must have a torso and a first person view camera in the torso or head following the ideal that is where a pilot would be if the robot was built to real life scale. Then you can remotely control the robot against other robots in a real life video game! The first robot has already been started and is 80 percent done and my little sister was jealous and she wants her own robot to play with the guys. Three competitors should be more fun so three ez robot cameras are in the way and servos for their gun arms.
The rad 1.0 looks more feminine than rad 2.0 I have on the way. Since this is a girls mech warrior robot ofcourse it gets a different flavor of paint job....
I do not believe I will leave it solid pink. I was thinking of pink as the base and then camouflage over it. Ive seen this before. Whats everyone s opinion?
Here are general examples of pink camouflage.
That color should show up nicely with EZ-B color tracking... "Automatic targeting enabled, target aquired... FIRE"
Im frustrated at the moment on this rad robot. First coat of paint was fine however today the paint is wrinkled in various spots. This usually happens if the surface is not clean but thats not the case for sure. Camouflage type paint job is the only option at this point. I will try to cut a stencil while this second coat dries.
I tried rotating the pics and reloading but it still showed sideways on the forum
My mom said it needed grey so I added someI personally like it without grey so I think im going to spray pink agian and only use white and black with stencil s
