Movement Panel Modified Servos Left/Right Backwards

Hey folks, I have my wall-e set up after about a year in hibernation. When last I tinkered with him, the movement panel turned him the "correct" way (absolute). However, after upgrading the firmware and software, it is now backwards. No wiring or servo position has changed. Back and forth are fine, but left right are reversed. Any clues?...

Sf Bay Area Get Together And Hack?

Hey, I blew the dust off my wall-e after taking a year to get my career back on track. Looking to see if there are enough folks in the Bay area to do a meet-up one night or weekend to compare projects, compare notes, have a beer (or soft drink) and some food?

Sendserial Question

DJ, is it possible that there is a bug in SendSerial? I have an alternate MP3 board that worked fine up until a couple days ago. Not sure if I (ehem) messed something up on the board, or something happened with the scripting engine. Anyone else experiencing any SendSerial issues? Im using the 40MP3 Module. Thanks.

Movement Envelopes? Think Animation.

So Im looking at the servo automated movement stuff, and thinking to myself; hey Cyberdude, what I would love to have are traditional animation controls such as "ease in" and "ease out" with programmable envelopes. (OK, truth be told, I dont actually call myself Cyberdude.) In this scenario, I have a "ServoSpeed_Ramp(Port,...

Baffling Movement Control Question

I have a project Im working on (encl.) with a movement panel to control the treads. When you press the forward arrow, only one servo turns, the other does a momentary movement, then freezes. Whether executing a call to the movement control from script or manually, it doesnt seem matter, same result. However, if I create a fresh project, set up...

Wall-E Sound Files...Enjoy

Got really tired of searching for a good set of sounds, so, in a VERY unscientific way, I extracted all of the sounds from the sound chip on the U-Command Wall-e. If you have audio experience, you might want to re-equalize the sounds. But theyre "good enough" for now. Enjoy.<a...

Servo Motors Disengaged

@DJ Just a heads up. I just went through the servos in my kit and found three of the 4 standard servos did not function correctly. They whined when plugged in.
