Hi folks. Been awhile since I've been here. Blew the dust off my Wall-e and went to upgrade the firmware. Got about 3/4 of the way (twice), but it failed. Third time I tried, I get this response over and over again:
EZ-Robot OS Updater Version: 2014.05.25.00 5/26/2014 12:29:15 PM - Begin
5/26/2014 12:29 PM - Attempting connection on COM4 5/26/2014 12:29 PM - Comm Err: The operation has timed out. 5/26/2014 12:29 PM - BbytesToExpect: 1 5/26/2014 12:29 PM - Received: 5/26/2014 12:29 PM - Disconnected 5/26/2014 12:29 PM - Connection Failed: System.Exception: Controller Not Responding at EZ_B.EZB.Connect(String hostname, Int32 baudRate) 5/26/2014 12:29 PM - Disconnected 5/26/2014 12:29:21 PM - Connection attempt error
Any clues?
Thanks Cyberdude
Can you ZIP up the My Documents\EZ-Builder\Logs folder for me and post it in here... Thanks!
Logs attached...
P.S.
Had a spare Controller chip. Replaced. Was able to upload firmware on the first attempt. HOWEVER...Now when I enter the builder, It attempt to connect, and I get the same failure to connect.Logs.zipLogs.zip
I'll take a look at your logs
So it turns out that it was likely a combo of low battery and distance to Bluetooth. Works now. Thanks for responding. Always great to chat
