See ARCx use a browser as the robot's speaker and microphone, recognise voice commands and run scripts in real time.
This clip shows ARCx giving a robot a voice and ears: the browser acts as the robot's speaker and microphone, the robot greets the viewer, then responds out loud to four spoken commands that run JavaScript-driven behaviors. The audio is real ARCx output (Windows Speech Engine for the robot; a synthetic test voice for commands) and every phrase is recognised inside ARCx before the matching script executes.
Speech synthesis and recognition are delivered as robot skills you can swap — Windows, Azure, Whisper, Sherpa-Onnx and more — without changing the rest of your project. That makes it easy for makers, educators and engineers to add conversational control to rovers, classroom bots and demos on phones, tablets or laptops anywhere.
