Move robot arms by coordinates — ARCx Kinematics

See inverse kinematics in ARCx: define an arm once, then move its hand by X/Y/Z millimetres with clicks, linear moves, jogging and a short pick-and-place script.

This video walks through ARCx's built-in inverse kinematics using the Virtual Robot "Robot Arm" template. Watch named positions, typed X/Y/Z targets, straight-line moves, jogging, click-to-move in the top/side views, and a roughly ten-line pick-and-place JavaScript example. The chain designer and Kinematic Chains view show how the arm is described and exposed as global variables.

For builders, educators and engineers this means you can work in task-space (millimetres) instead of tuning servo angles. Describe your arm once, verify the live preview, then use the same functions from scripts, Blockly or Python to drive six-axis arms, legs, camera heads or custom jointed mechanisms.
