See a rover's 360° lidar feed ARCx's NMS while Another Navigator maps, localizes, plans and drives to waypoints.
This video shows autonomous navigation in ARCx: a 360° lidar publishes scans to the Navigation Messaging System (NMS), and the Another Navigator skill builds a map, matches scans to track robot pose, plans collision-free paths and drives to named waypoints or any clicked spot. The demo includes single-route driving, click-to-drive, and a scripted multi-stop tour (Lab → Charger → Home).
Everything shown runs in the browser and uses the Virtual Robot to publish realistic sensor data. The NMS accepts inputs from RPLidar, Hitachi and RealSense depth cameras, Kinect, ZED, Orbbec, wheel encoders and camera tracking; the ROS 2 Connector can share the same map and pose with ROS. That makes it practical for robot builders, educators and engineers to prototype navigation without ROS, a Linux host, or hand-edited config files.
