Making Rolis Costume, my first rough casting didn’t have much details because the resin hardened too quickly and off gasses bubbles , but it will make a good costume for a robot right?! , first is some prep, sealing the fiberglass up with mod podge.
This is sort of an accident,but painted white the DRD reminds me of a DRD Skeleton! With all the little pots and such in it, I’m tempted to do a Dead DRD ! spppoooky...
Ok the Bone layer is painted and sealed over. Now I did a bloody meat layer.
Next I will either do another red, or maybe a brown or grey before the top yellow layer and then black /brown weathering
I imagine I can lightly sand and scuff areas to indicate injuries, maybe like an undead DRD carcass
Well not sure how I feel about this, the texture lost some details of the mold overall, maybe I should have spray painted it instead.
