Roli Always looked up to his favorite sci-fi robot, the DRD from farscape, they make friends with the passengers, help in a pinch and repair the ship! Good robot! So Roli is getting his very own DRD costume for Halloween and other surprises too.

Suggestion Taken Professor E!
Wires added in a way that is consistent with the original DRD on the Leviathan and I also made it look like it’s little claw got ripped off.
The undead have super strength and bent my spindle trying to cut it, It was new too! sppppooky
Ok Undead DRD has Eyes and a eerie glow now.
I used 5 16 gauge wires and put them into a power drill to twist them together. This made a cheap bendy skeleton for the eye stalks. The bounce around appropriately and are pose able. I used 12 volt eagle eyes for the eye pods, 8 volts makes them glow just enough and does not use much current at all.
Ok so all the lights are in, body is done , and it’s on the Roli Base
I just submitted undead DRD to the Robot Halloween Costume Challenge! I tried a couple times so hopefully it went through. It has been a lot of hours on this project , but it was fun. Tommorow I will bring it to work to show my team, most of them don’t watch social media much so they are interested to see how it turned out. One picture doesn’t do it justice.
It looks great! Nice work Josh!
Your entry went through successfully. Thanks for submitting! The final result looks fantastic.
Thankyou Jeremie and Professor E!
This project just popped up, and reminded me that I really want to finish the DRD project that Josh made the parts for and sent to me.
I'm going to start putting more energy into this project, Josh made an amazing chassis and I really want a DRD in my collection.
Over the years I've learned a few different building techniques that will lend well to this project.
