Hi everyone - I'm Lori. Excited to be part of the EZ-robot team and it sure's working with the fabulous DJ.
Watch as I build roLi over the next few weeks. I'm looking forward to getting help and inspiration from everyone.
Keep calm - and robot on.

Welcome to the forums
Great to meet ya Lori! Not sure how much more help we can give then your own fellow EZ Team members.
It's very cool that the other team members from EZ Robot are coming out into the forum to meet us. Nice to get to know the other people that are responsible for this amazing product.
Thanks, Dave Schulpius
Awesome! Welcome aboard! You will find many awesome roboteers with two of the finest chiming in, Dave and Rich. Never hesitate to ask questions and post "progress" pics. My first progress pic was a pile of copper and brass which has turned into a steampunk style talking head called FRED. So were ALL waiting to see what you have planned!
Hi roLi,
Welcome and enjoy ! You'll find a very interesting and inspiring community over here. I read your profile and I must say I'm impressed. Can't wait to see what you're comming up with.
Welcome Lori, I'm looking forward to seeing your robot.
thanks all! Great to meet you.
Priority focus is you guys and ez-robot business, so getting roLi rolling might take a few weeks.
My goal is to build a robot (on a roomba base) that will also wash the dog nose prints off the windows.
I'll be sure to reach out for some inspiration, tho.

Welcome! I can't wait to see pics of progress. We all love pics, and videos. We love videos.
Wash the dog nose prints off the windows! Wow, if you can get your bot to do that I may have to copy your design. That's some icky sticky stuff and hard to remove even with human hands, Windex and a scrub brush. Josh has had experience with building cleaning robots. I bet if you look at his projects you could "steal" a few ideas and jump start your build. cool
Hey, I just had an idea (actually from a vid DJ has posted). How about a robot that stays attached to the glass? You could install strong magnets in the the bottom of the robot and have another magnet on rollers of some type that would sit on the other side of the glass. When mounted across from each other the robot would stay on the glass and when it scooted along it would pull the magnet on the other side of the glass along with it. The two would just roll around till the window was clean. You would have to figure out how to apply cleaning solution to the glass, scrubbers and wipers.
Welcome to EZ Robot! I look forward to seeing your project and helping EZ Robot become the Facebook of personal technology.
