Ez-B Controller Not Working

Hi everyone, I have followed every day postings in this forum since November when I bought the EZ-B, but this is my first posting. I have a problem with the controller, it started with firmware update V16 but maybe it was just coincidence. The blue status led is very dim almost off and when I measure the voltage it was only 0.8v. Voltage regulators...

Anybody Hack A Tomy Crackbot?

I just got a Tomy Crackbot on Friday. Talk about nostalgia! I haven't played with one of these in 20+ years! Anyways, I just installed some LED lights for his eyes today and was just wondering if anyone's actually done a true hack on one of these models before? They're just so cute! Suggestion

Maybe you already have this somewhere. But, I would like to see a Telepresence script in the Examples. This is a very useful type of Example. It seems that the EZB would do this very easily. Just a Suggestion. Also, BTW, GREAT UPDATE! as always.

Serial Gps For Ez-B

Has anyone looked at something like the Locosys LS20031 as a serial device attached to the EZ-B? Requires 3.3V. Output is to a TTL-level serial port. IT outputs the data in more than 6 different National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) GPS sentences (user selectable) at a rate of up to 10 Hz.

Want To Buy Starter Kit, But From Where?

I've emailed EZ-Robot without response, which makes me a bit iffy about ordering. But I'm interested in the EZ-Robot starter kit. I live in Calgary and would like to arrange to come pick a kit up rather then order online, pay for shipping and wait for delivery. Does anyone know who I can get in touch with to discuss this further?
