ARC Project Autosave

I have been working on debugging scripts for my robot lately and occassionally end up hanging up ARC. I may just be too impatient not waiting for it to come back, but I have needed to occasionally kill it with the task manager. Unfortunately this does not give me and opportunity to save my work. Any chance of there being an autosave feature...

Sendserial - Carriage Return?

I'm still fighting with a serial module. Noticed on the setup commands notes - > "All commands consist of a channel number, followed by a comma, the command and a newline (Enter key)" Does the sendserial command already do this? or do I need to add something in for a new line/carriage return? Command I'm trying to send is:...

Recommendations For 12 Volt Rechargeable Battery

Would anyone care to recommend a 12 volt rechargeable battery system? I plan on using at least two: one to power a 12 volt Dewert and actuator and another to power two 12 volt actuators and a 12 volt servo. The load will be quite low (no locomotion). The systems will be controlled by two separate EZ boards. Thanks, Daniel

Ez-B Versus Arduino

This maybe a taboo subject but I'm trying to make a case for purchasing EZ-B instead of the Arduino for a small scale childrens introduction to robotics. I suggested the EZ-B but have been met with resistance from others who have used the Arduino. Has anyone ever had a similar situation? If so, what "selling" points did you use to...

Servo Wire Gage Over Distance?

Hello All I've searched the forum but couldn't really confirm my question. What gage wire would I use to extend my EZ servos? I read that the farther the distance the heavier the gage should be. I'm looking to extend at least a few feet, perhaps 3 to 4 at most. Thanks, Daniel
