Load Torque Gauge

I think it is really important to know how much load there is moving/pushing something , whether it is a robot head or arm before "throwing" on a servo. Is there something like a force gauge to test whatever it is your moving before placing a servo? I hate crossing my fingers and tuning for dense smoke! Your thoughts/suggestions greatly...

Question For Dj About The Robot Arm

DJ....where can I get another one of the servo shoulder joint bearings? Did you have these installed or did it come from the manufacturer that way? The reason is; the existing wrist joint is far to weak. I would like to use another joint like the one used on the shoulder. Thanks, Rex

I looking to get into robots and this looks like a perfect solution. I plan on making a quadruped robot using 14 servos and the camera. It seems this controller will do that but I plan on using a lipo battery but don't know what voltage the board will take and what I should use?

Quick question, can the ez-b be used to power up a mother board from the 2 power pins on mobo?
