This ARC update delivers important improvements to camera performance, face tracking reliability, and script automation. With smarter frame processing and new scripting capabilities, ARC continues to make robot control more responsive and dependable.
Improved Real-Time Camera Streaming
Camera streaming has been optimized to deliver the freshest video frames with minimal delay.
- Immediate Frame Processing: Camera frames are delivered as soon as their final byte is received, reducing unnecessary processing delays.
- Intelligent Frame Dropping: When frame handlers cannot keep up with incoming video, ARC automatically discards older queued frames and processes only the newest available frame.
- Camera & Infrared Support: The optimization applies independently to both regular camera and infrared video streams.
- Reduced Video Latency: Prevents outdated frames from building up, helping robots respond to what is happening now rather than what happened moments ago.
These improvements are especially beneficial for robots using live video feeds, computer vision, and remote operation.
Face Tracking Reliability Fix
Resolved an issue where face tracking could stop functioning after opening and saving the Camera configuration window.
Face tracking now continues operating correctly after configuration changes, eliminating the need to restart tracking.
Script Collection - New Running Status ControlCommand
The Script Collection robot skill now includes a new ControlCommand that returns the running status of a specified script.
This allows other scripts and robot skills to check whether a script is currently executing, enabling more advanced automation and coordination.

- Check whether a script is running before starting another operation.
- Prevent overlapping script execution.
- Coordinate sequences involving multiple scripts.
