Major Improvements & Fixes
Enhanced Help Hover
- The blue question mark help bubble now stays visible longer when hovered over, making it easier to read important information.
Supercharged Face Tracking & Detection!
- The built-in camera’s face tracking now runs at half the CPU usage-from 7% down to 3.5%! This means smoother tracking and better performance across the board.
Project & Skill History Gets an Upgrade
- New Project History Manager keeps track of changes more efficiently.
- New Skill History Manager brings performance and stability improvements to ensure a smoother experience.
Optimized GUI & System Services
- Significant memory optimizations to the GUI service, making everything feel snappier.
- Fixes for an internal function mapping issue that could rarely cause a divide by zero exception.
Robot Skill Configuration Enhancements
- Robot skill XML configuration can now define whether multiple instances are allowed in a project (default is FALSE).
- Existing robot skills must be updated to allow multiple instances if required!
Remote Access & Camera Improvements
- Remote access service now uses a memory stream pool for better efficiency.
- EZ-B v4 & UART video camera services optimized for smoother operation.
- Fixed a rare memory stream disposal issue that could affect the camera driver.
Bing Speech Recognition Enhancements
- Now correctly returns the pause checkbox value with
GetPause. - Wakeword detection now respects the pause setting-if pause is checked, it won’t listen!
Smarter Audio Commands
Audio.SayWait()now cancels speech when the calling script stops-no more waiting for long text to finish playing!
Navigation & Movement Fixes
- Navigation Messenger optimized for better efficiency.
- Built-in Movement Panels now correctly show the default speed in settings on load.
- The default ARC movement speed is now 127 (out of 255) instead of 0 when first launched.
Updated Resources & Tutorials
- The "Getting Started - Make a Robot" tutorial link has been updated to provide the best learning experience for new users!
