Need to make my V4 camera's cable longer... Seems to be a JST 2.0mm 6 pin cable... found this on eBay 6pin JST However, it looks like I may have to do some soldering with it. Anyone know of a place to buy a plug and play male/male extension 6 pin 2.0 JST cable?

need to beat jeremie!
Oh nooooooooooooo! I didn't beat jeremie
@Richard R, how did you solve it? I cant find any info in this thread on what to use. confused
@Dave, in Richard's original post, This ebay link is pretty much all that's around (adafruit and sparkfun do the same cable too).
Or my posts pointing out to build a custom cable with JST crimps and the 6 pin JST PH 2mm housings since none of the usual sources list extensions for 6 pin JST PH 2mm spaced connectors.
@Richard thanks, that's #200
Congrats @Rich that's is quite the Milestone! You do awesome work in this forum!
Hey Dave, going with the eBay item, but also buying a crimper kit as Rich suggested...
You could just use the ebay item along with a different plug/socket combo. Provided you get a matching set of 6 pin plug/socket the two would plug in without issue and, depending on the plug/socket combo you could make off the plug & socket with barely any effort.
Another solution would be to crimp with through crimps if you want to avoid soldering the joint.
Or just solder the joint and wrap it up in heat shrink.
Just an FYI, the JST crimper does take a little getting used to as the JST terminals are so fiddly. But once you get used to it you'll not regret it
