Removing A Beta Skill

I have developed several skills as part of my learning process to understand how to create skills in Synthiam ARC. Currently, all these skills are in beta status. I would like to know the procedure for deleting one of these beta skills to avoid confusion with outdated or unnecessary skills. Could someone guide me on how to delete a skill that is still in beta?

To delete a beta skill in Synthiam ARC, follow these steps:

  1. Open ARC: Launch the ARC software on your computer.

  2. Navigate to the Skill Manager:

    • Click on the "Project" tab at the top of the ARC interface.
    • Select "Skill Manager" from the dropdown menu. This will open the Skill Manager window, where you can manage your robot skills.
  3. Locate the Beta Skill:

    • In the Skill Manager, find the beta skill you want to delete. You can use the search bar to quickly locate it if you have many skills.
  4. Delete the Skill:

    • Once you've found the skill, click on it to select it.
    • Look for a "Delete" or "Remove" button, usually located at the bottom or side of the Skill Manager window.
    • Confirm the deletion when prompted. This will remove the skill from your list of available skills in ARC.
  5. Save Your Project:

    • After deleting the skill, make sure to save your project to ensure that the changes are retained.

If you encounter any issues or the option to delete is not available, ensure that you have the latest version of ARC installed. You can check for updates by clicking on the "Help" tab and selecting "Check for Updates."
