New Six Camera Failed After A Few Minutes Of Use

I just got a new Brookstone SIX. After assembly, I was starting to use it, and the camera suddenly stopped working with this error:

I am connected in client mode, thus the IP of 192.168.0.3

There are no lights on the camera.

I swapped in the camera from my Adventurebot, and it works fine, so it is not the EZ-B. The camera also does not work on the Adventurebot or a "naked" EZ-B.

I opened the case and confirmed that the two boards are well connected and the cable is well connected.

I think this is a warranty issue, my only question is whether I need to go through Brookstone or EZ-B since I got the SIX from Brookstone.

(note, there were three other QA issues. There was no 20 amp fuse installed in the body - luckily I had spares, one of the servos was 90 degrees off calibration - My experience with previous purchases is that they can be a few degrees off, but I have never seen one so far off, and finally, there was no protective plastic over the camera lens. It almost seems like it might have been a return, but the box was still sealed with the factory tape, and everything was perfectly placed in the box).

@WBS, click on the Robot AppStore link from the top menu. Scroll down and locate the galopaososos bot and press the WATCH button.

Here's the video from that link for the app

@DJ_Sures Thank you for the link, but I'm afraid that's not the video to which I was referring.

Was it turtle bot video?

@DJ_Sures Thanks for trying again, but I'm afraid that's not it either. The one I'm think of had the bot doing several moves with a great deal of smooth and fluid motion. Looking at the thread again, it may have been something Nomad posted, but I'm not certain. I guess I should ask him.

I think the video was in this thread but it was removed unfortunately.

I have my Galapagosbot at home, I can post a youtube video of it in action for you later tonight if you'd like:)

@Jeremie Hard to say, but that may have been it.

Thank you for the offer of making a video of the Bot, but please don't go to any trouble on my account. I was just interested in seeing that particular video again because I recalled it having the bot going through such great movements. I don't know if those movements are a part of the ones that come with the Example Project on the Galapagos bot or not, but I'll find out eventually when I put it together next week some time. It was just that the video was what got me interested in the Galapagos bot in the first part and I would have liked to see it again, but it is not a must see kind of thing. Thanks again for the offer.

Sorry @WBS00001 it took me a night but here's a video for you:)

@Jeremie Thanks very much for making the video for me. I really appreciate it. Gives me a good idea of it's moves now. I believe I might add more servos for the camera/head for a look all around capability. Just need to decide if I keep the original turtle look, or just move it to the shell like Six. It would make the "neck" pretty long, but then a Galapagos turtle has a long neck. Function vs aesthetics ...

Thanks again.
