For the awsome office application. Could not manage on my own.
For a fee of cause.
I want them to move around, greet people, recognize movements etc.
Read all of the tutorials and watch the videos. ARC makes it easy for everyone to "program" their robots. If there are any specific controls or functions that you need help with the answers are often in these forums, otherwise just ask.
I've spent 2 nights trying to program using ARC without any particular success. I believe someone more proficient in this could do this in a couple of hours. Considering above I gave up and would rather pay someone who can do that properly and quick when spend undefined time period trying to accomplish it myself
@MCHK, you can watch the tutorial video for the AR Parrot Drone. Press the ? button on the AR Parrot Drone control, or visit the tutorial page: https://synthiam.com/Tutorials/Help.aspx?id=160
You do not need to "program" the AR Parrot Drone.
Load ARC
Connect to AR Parrot Drone over WIFI
Click Add Control
Select Robots
Select AR Parrot Drone Movement Panel
Click Add Control
Select Camera
Select Camera Control
Press CONNECT on AR Parrot Drone Movement Panel
Select AR PArrot Drone on Camera Control Device List
You may now use the buttons on the Movement Panel to control the drone. If you wish to use a joystick to fly the drone, add the joystick control.
Click Add Control
Select Misc
Select Joystick
Press Configure on Joystick
Ensure the checkbox is CHECKED on the first tab "use movement controls"
Switch to second tab (Joystick #2)
Ensure the checkbox is checked "use pitch/roll drone movements"
Press SAVE
Now you may use the Joystick to control the drone
If you wish your drone to follow a color...
Press Config on camera control
select Enable Movement Tracking
Press Save
select "Tracking" tab on the camera control
select the Color checkbox
Now your robot will default track the color red. You can change the color and brightness by selecting the Color tab on the Camera Control.
You can also perform the same to track faces, but select Face instead of Color.
Doesn't get any easier than that
No programming required.
Thanks a lot DJ! What a great community here!
Well, so far I've got. For some reason the EX Builder does not like the Parrot Drone's video (no video here). Besides, isn't it supposed to follow movement?
Thanks
Are you using a AR Parrot Drone version 1 or version 2?
Version 2
That would be the issue. There is no support for version 2. When you Add the control, in specifies version 1 in the title name
Okay... should Rover track moving object?
