What Is The Best Base To Start From.

What Is The Best Base To Start From.

I started my project a weeks ago and first played with all the bits. I started building my actual robot on a RC car of mine and came to the conclusion that the speed seem to be a bit high. :D Seeing that there aren't many Wall-E`s available in SA I need to make another plan. I tend to think tracks are best but which ones can you guys August? There are many models ans types out there and the prices vary as well. I do not want to break the bank but do not want to waste money on something useless. No shop in SA have tracks that I can look at. I have seen some on the net from tamiya etc but it is only photos and they can be deceiving in size and ease of use. If anyone can give advise i will appreciate it.

Have you seen the tracks from the cardboard wall-e? https://synthiam.com/Community/Questions/1271

those are pretty cool!

If you are using a modified servo Movement Panel connected to the electronic speed controller of your RC car, you can adjust the values which represents the speed by pressing CONFIG.

If you are using a motor controller (L298 HBRidge specifically), then press the question mark on the controller to see how to configure it for speed control using the PWM.

Thanks I will go have another look at it and at the other post. I just played a bit on Sunday and my Robot flew away like a bat out of hell and came to a sudden stop against the wall blush

When I get time this weekend I will do it the right way and not my way. :D

Holy! That is a serious machine!!!

I can't tell from the photo of what you are using for the motor controller. If it is an ESC or a L298. But we should figure out how to give you speed control on it:)
