is there anyone who knows the name off this.its a protection sorta foam, to paste on inside connectors from servo's.

I have never seen any kind of foam material inside of servos... at least hobby servos and I have taken many apart... What is this foam used for Nomad?

I think he is talking about a spacer that will keep the motor in the servo pressed up. It would go between the bottom plate of the case of the servo and the bottom of the motor. I could be wrong but I have seen some servos over the years that have this spacer.

rr its to cover up the vcc-gnd-from the robi robot i have. the seller is looking for complete bag off new wires. this foam ,i wanna use to cover up the complete circuitboard too.

hi d cohran there is an edge in the housing from the servo. when you puch the servo in ,it drags the wire over the edge and rip it open. so i need to find some to cover up the board and some to make the wire, more resistant against dragging.

rr special servo's from deagostini.but the wire coating is to soft.

Richard is right. Electric tape (they even sell some thicker tape if you need it) would work.

Just use hot glue and heat shrink insulation, job's a good 'un.

rich heat shrink will not be possible.the wires turn up to 180 degrees, and there is not much room.each wire is slichtly thiker then human hair.
