looks like a cam type system but the turret could easily hold a camera. On amazon I saw them cheap as 70 and high as 19.99 for a blue one called stryder

Yeah those utilize the Jaimus walking mechanism, 1 motor makes it walk and 1 motor turns the head 360 degrees. I already hacked something similar called the hexbug spider, using a motorshield for the 2 motors.
