Communication Example With Arduino

Before I found the awesome EZ Robot board, I mainly used arduinos for my robots. Now I have this great EZ Robot board and I'd like to put my Arduino's to use as well. Has anyone used I^2C to communicate between the Arduino and EZB? Any examples?

Please has anyone configured the compass with the movement panel I am trying to locate a sample setup on the forum? In addition to allowing a joystick button run a script, why not let it trigger a custom event of any name. If the joystick moves left, the user could say this action triggers "port-side" or whatever they want to call that.
