Cool looking robot...I am amazed at the creativity of everyone on the forum.

Looking cool.
Have you made any videos?
Have you tried the Sharp IR sensor?
It will measure distance and does not use up servo ports.
It is also just as easy to use as the sonar.

Nice Job MovieMaker. It shows what you can do with house hold stuff and an imagination :)

Thanks Guys.

I haven't made any videos yet because EVERYTHING but the Navigation works good. I just have to find a script that will work. I have tried many and failed.

Also, I did tried several sharp IR units and they work, but are flakey. I have an Extremely small apt that you have to back up to turn around in. And, the lighting is florescent and not very good at all. So, that could be one of the problems.

If something changes, I will let you know. I have Completely RE-Built and RE-programmed Marti.

some reason IR sensors dont work is lights ,mirror ,glass and shiny objects
same with SONARS ,rugs, sofa's cotton stuff and more doesnt pick up well,
also some colors effect both sensors ,white bad for IR ,black sometimes bad for SONARS
for a good navigation system witch is the hardest to add to robots is that you need all types of sensors used together ,one type wont work,so its not the script thats always the problem
LASERS are one of the best sensors for inside navigation, camera's work kinda good but even thoses have problems too
