Yah - it’ll work because it merely controls the servos. So any of the compatible controllers for ARC that use servos will use the wiimote

Do the servos work on your arduino? The wiimote moves servos. I would check the manual of the wiimote on this website because it’s for useful information. For example, activating the accelerometer requires hitting the home button
